What is the eligibility criteria to enrol in PGCP?
Pass in an Undergraduate (Bachelor) Program of a minimum duration of Three (3) years in any stream from a UGC recognized University.
What are the documents to be submitted?
Colour scan of the below mentioned original document is required to be uploaded on the admission portal at the time of seeking admission –
- Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate
- Aadhar Card for Indian Nationals and Passport for Foreign Nationals
Who will award the Certificate?
The certificate will be awarded by the respective Schools / Departments under JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).
What is the medium of instruction?
The medium of instruction is English only.
What is the duration of the Program?
The duration of the program is 6 months.
How many courses does the Program have?
The Program has four Core Courses and a Research Project.
Does the Program have any credits?
No, the certificate program does not award any credits.
How many learning hours are involved?
660 hours.
What is Research Project?
Every learner has to undertake a research project as a part of the program. The project provides an opportunity for the learners to apply classroom learning in a real-life setting. Learners are required to submit a project report in the prescribed format.
What is a Learning Management System (LMS)?
It is a platform (software) through which program delivery and administration is managed. The learner will be provided with a login id and password to access the LMS. The LMS will provide the learner with access to study material, recordings of live sessions, pre-recorded videos, discussion and chat facility to interact with the faculty and clear doubts. The LMS will also contain information about class schedule, course information and other announcements.
How do I know about various due dates?
A Calendar of Events is available on the LMS.
When will the live sessions be scheduled?
The live sessions will be delivered online on weekends (3-4 hours/Weekend).
How many teaching hours (Faculty driven) will be there?
Up to 100 hours split between Lead Faculty Track (30 hours), Corporate Coach Track (30 hours) and Guru Track (30 hours).
Will I be able to interact with faculty?
Yes. Learners will be able to interact during the live sessions and through the discussion forum / chat facility on the LMS.
Will the recording of live sessions be available?
Yes. The online sessions will be recorded and available on the LMS for the entire duration of the Program.
Is attendance for live online sessions mandatory?
Not mandatory but essential. A learner is required to have a minimum participation of 75% in all the activities
Will study material be provided?
Yes. A learner is provided access to a customized Self Learning Material (SLM) on the LMS.
Can the e-content be downloaded?
Yes. The learner is allowed to download the content available on the LMS. However, any unauthorized copying, distribution, transmission, uploading on any media or other use of this material is prohibited.
What are the assessment components?
Assessment in all courses is based on two components - Continuous Assessment (50 Marks) and End-of-Program Assessment (50 Marks).
What does Continuous Assessment comprise?
Three assignments of 25 marks each – Any 2 may be attempted.
When and how should the assignments be submitted?
Assignments have to be submitted online on the LMS as per schedule notified.
Is there some minimum marks to be secured in Continuous Assessment?
A learner needs to score a minimum of 40% in the Continuous Assessment.
How will End-of-Program Assessment be conducted?
Online Proctored Exam.
Will a learner require a laptop/desktop for End-of-Program Assessment?
Yes. A desktop or laptop computer with a working webcam & microphone facility.
Is internet connection required for End-of-Program Assessment?
Yes. A stable and non-shared connection.
Can End-of-Program Assessment be taken through a mobile device?
No. You are not allowed to take the assessment through a mobile device as you may face technical difficulties related to compatibility of the device with the examination portal.
What is the question paper format for End-of-Program Assessment?
Objective (MCQ), 50 marks
What is the minimum passing marks requirement?
A learner needs to score a minimum of 40% each in Continuous and End-of-Program components.
Will End-of-Program Assessment be conducted on a specified day & time?
Yes. The Schedule will be communicated as per timeline of Calendar of Events.
When will the Certificate be issued?
The certificate will be issued within 30 days of End-of-Program Assessment.
Will hard copy (printed) of the Certificate be available?
Yes. The Certificate can be collected from the Office or a learner can request dispatch via post on payment of the postage fee applicable at that time.
