About this Certification

This Course is intended primarily for students with a high school level Physics background, intending to pursue Physics as a major at a graduate degree level or for those who want to get extra college level credits in Physics. Phys 101 emphasize both qualitative and conceptual understanding of the topics and tools of introductory physics developed without the use of Calculus


  • Students should be able to explain how physics applies to phenomena in the world around them.
  • Students will have the basic knowledge of physics and will have foundation for later courses in their disciplines and will be able to recognize how and when physics methods and principles can help address problems in their major and then can apply those methods and principles to solve problems in the majors.
  • Students will demonstrate conceptual understanding of fundamental physics principles. Students will be able to gain basic knowledge about Work, Energy and Power ,Momentum and Collision , Kinematics , Dynamics ,Thermodynamics , Electric Current , Velocity Magnetism , Waves , Oscillations , Light , Labs etc
